Coaching Approach

Approach

  • I help business executives, rising leaders, and creative entrepreneurs transform intentions into results through Leadership & Performance coaching. As an action-oriented coach, I partner with people navigating complexity, growth, or transition to gain clarity and confidence while taking meaningful steps forward.

My approach combines accountability with practical strategies for sustainable change. I work through business and leadership coaching, executive development, executive function support, and graphic facilitation to help clients get (and stay) unstuck.

  • Based near Philadelphia, I work virtually with clients nationwide, creating flexible coaching relationships that adapt to demanding schedules and diverse time zones. This approach allows me to serve clients wherever they are, literally and figuratively.

  • My clients range from next-gen business owners to seasoned executives, rising leaders and creative entrepreneurs. And I work across many industries - housing, healthcare, education, manufacturing, marketing, the arts, and more.

I specialize in supporting people at key transitions: professionals stepping into new leadership roles, business owners planning succession, individuals navigating major life changes, or established company executives evolving for the future. I also work with ADHD and neurodivergent brains, and can offer the type of shame-free support and accountability that traditional coaching often misses.

  • I currently offer two ways to engage in coaching.

One-on-One Coaching: Personalized coaching work focused on a client’s specific goals, development needs or areas of challenge, typically involving a 90 minute goal setting session, followed by 60-minute coaching sessions every 10 days - with activities, assessments, and ongoing support offered between meetings. Six session minimum.

Group Coaching: Small action learning and coaching cohorts for support around related topics such as Work Life Integration; Strategic Communication, Succession & Retirement, and more. This is a more affordable, connective and community based level of coaching support.

Framework

  • I do my best work with clients who have the time, energy, and intention to engage fully.

When sessions are frequently cancelled or skipped, it breaks the rhythm and makes it harder to do meaningful work - for both of us.

I want our time together to feel steadily valuable. This is a partnership.

  • In coaching, the past is often a detour and a distraction. You don't need to explain every road you've traveled to get accurate directions to your next destination.

We arrive at each coaching session and begin with where you are right now, where you want to go, and how it connects to your bigger goals.

We start here → set a goal → aim there… and then we explore to let the process unfold, before coming back to harvest the insight and identify the action step.

  • Building resilience and self-awareness allows you to act from a grounded, intentional place—the foundation of thoughtful leadership.

When you operate from this centered space, your decisions carry greater impact, your presence feels more trustworthy, and you model authentic leadership in action. The same intentionality that makes you a more effective leader also makes you more genuinely present with others and more aligned with your values.

This approach extends to how we work together. In our coaching engagement, we'll be thoughtful and present, mindfully considering the resources, time, and energy required before making commitments. We'll model the same grounded decision-making we're developing in your leadership.

By building your capacity for intentional action, you create a ripple effect: better decisions, stronger relationships, and leadership that feels both powerful and authentic.

This isn't about perfection; it's about developing the self-awareness to choose your responses rather than simply react to circumstances.

  • Transformation and change requires real work. Whether it's noticing thoughts, exploring ideas, preparing for sessions, or doing therapy to clear past traumas, you must bring courage, willingness and effort to the coaching process.

When you do the work, results will follow.

  • My job isn't to have all the answers—it's to help you access your own insights, build capacity, and create momentum for whatever comes next.

As your coach, I adapt to meet you where you are and support the direction you've set. When circumstances shift, I adjust my approach accordingly, and I expect the same adaptive mindset from you.

Coaching isn't about rigid adherence to a plan; it's about staying responsive to what's actually happening while maintaining focus on your core objectives.

Growth requires flexibility. The leaders who thrive are those who can pivot when needed, learn from what's not working, and double down on what is. I help you develop this adaptive capacity—the ability to read situations clearly, make informed adjustments, and keep moving forward even when the path changes.

The goal isn't just to solve today's challenge; it's to strengthen your ability to handle whatever challenges come next.

Cadence & Scheduling

Most clients meet with me every 2-3 weeks, though frequency can vary depending on your goals and schedule. At a minimum, I suggest meeting once per month to maintain momentum. If you prefer a regular time slot, it's best to book sessions in advance — as many clients reserve their spots 30-60 days in advance. I’m happy to coordinate with your executive assistant or scheduler and work ahead.

Engagement Length

Coaching engagements are generally shaped by your evolving needs. I typically ask new clients to begin with a minimum initial package of six sessions for meaningful goal setting, momentum and clarity. Many clients choose to continue beyond the initial package for ongoing support through professional transitions, decision-making, or new phases of growth and leadership. The typical coaching engagement is 6-8 months. I’m open to longer-term coaching partnerships so long as the work remains purposeful and aligned for both of us.

Availability

Coaching sessions are 60 minutes long and offered on: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
I don’t generally offer sessions on Wednesdays, based on my other commitments. All sessions are held via Zoom or phone, depending on your preference.

Phone vs. Zoom

Both phone and video sessions are available, and each has its strengths. If you're feeling zoom fatigue or would benefit from walking while talking, phone sessions are a great alternative. I use Zoom for video calls, and you’ll receive a link to my waiting room upon engagement.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Meetings may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 72 hours in advance without penalty. Meetings cancelled or rescheduled within 72 hours in advance will be billed at the standard rate. I have found that this is the fairest way to share the risk of unpredictable calendars.

Waiting List: Currently, there is a waiting list for new clients. Please email me to be added to the list.
